Yassssssssss! I was not impressed with the packaging at all. It's too nice of a hat not to have come in a hat box. The hat was beautiful and well made tho.

When I purchased this hat, I had no idea that I would need it for my Sister's funeral shortly after burying my Mother. It was too plain for me so I added a brooch to it and wore it differently than pictured. I received TONS of compliments despite the occasion with one person calling me "Mahogany" which made me laugh. The style is elegant and classy all in one. The fit was adaptable with a string. The weight is not heavy at all. It was actually very sturdy which caused problems when I attempted to attach the brooch. The value was worth the outcome.
